Question : I am 72 & limited on walking with a walker. I noticed after taking my B.P. medicine (atenol/chlor) & my pain medicine(hydroco 7.5) that I itch on my back from my neck to my buttocks. last about 3 hours. Some times my face will itch.

Brief Answer: Hydrocodone Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for the query Hydrcodone is known to cause pruritis ( itching) in a few patients, if it is extremely uncomfortable then I suggest you to change over to another equally effective drug like tramadol. However if it is bearable then I suggest you to apply calamine lotion over your back and also reduce the dose of the medication by taking half a tablet.
