Question : What would cause itching in the evening around the same time. On the neck arms stomach back mostly everywhere. He gets welts when he scratches.

Need to find cause of allergy

Hi

Development of welts can occur due to various reasons like intake of antibiotics or pain killers of due to any body infections like respiratory infection or abdominal or urine infection.
A complete blood testing for leukocyte counts along with thyroid profile and urine and stool assessment might be required to find out the exact cause .
For the time being, if benadryl isn't performing well, you can take oral antihistamines like loratidine regularly to bring the allergy under control .
Avoid outside good.
