Question : I have got lot of itching happening on the skin over the neck and arm pits and thighs. There also looks like a ring worm issue. I have tried using Quadriderm , Fourdermm and Itchguard as well but to no avail. Is it getting serious. Could you please suggest something. I am in XXXXXXX and the temperature is pretty high and there is lot of sweating. I am suspecting that it might be a problem but need your feedback on it. Could you prescribe some medicine to reduce it or remove the problem

Hi,

I have uploaded the pictures. The place where these are have become dark and also dry I believe. I have tried to use moisturizer just to keep them moist which helps reduce itching but does not resolve the problem. It appears to me that it has grown in places where there is more sweating than anywhere else.

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed response.

I have seen the image, it appears to be fungal infectioncalled Intertrigo.

The best medication for the same would be a combination of an antifungal and a steroid.

You can apply ZOLE F ointment which is one such combination.

Please be patient as it may take minimum of two months to get cleared.
