Question : I am 30 week 5 days pregnant.
From my second trimester i was having mild itching all over my body but from past 1 week i am having severe itching especially at night all over my body and my urine is orange in colour.
I am concerned

hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your problem,
it is a common occurrence in pregnancy but should be taken seriously.
Visit your gynecologist at the earliest and get an ultrasound done.
Take prescription for bile salt lowering agents called udiliv to be taken on regular basis and anti-itch medicine.
Keep a note of movements of the baby and take good rest and diet.

I googled and found that my symptoms are of cholestasis. I too have itching on my palm and feet sole.
Can you suggest me test which i should do before visiting my doctor. I have appointment after 10 days.
Is this harmful to my baby?
Any food precaution i should take?

Yes this is known as cholestasis of pregnancy and can result in early labour pains and intrauterine fetal death in case not taken care of on time.
Get liver function tests done along with ultrasound for growth and movement of baby before visiting your doctor.
You can wait till ten days and take tablet cetrizine twice a day to relieve itching.
Apply lactocalamine lotion of itchy areas.
Always keep a note of fetal movements to ensure proper fetal health.

I have seen the attached report and glad that it is almost normal and only minimally raised sugfestive of cholestasis of pregnancy which can be easily managed by udiliv tablet and cetrizine tablet for itching.
You can also apply lactocalamine lotion on the itchy areas for temporary relief.
All in all nothing to worry.
