Question: irritation/itching at penis head.mainly at night. I had already circumcised but irritation is at stiched skin and back of toe. Before 2-3 months I had urine tract infections also but now ok. In night this irritation disturbs my sleep and sometimes unbearable. But there is no sore or redish spots on it . Head is dry feeling to clothes.

Avoid using soaps and irritants to wash penis and scrotum. Instead you can use just warm water. If you want to use soap use a hypoallergenic soap like cetaphil. You can use creams containing antifungal agents like miconazole and corticosteroids like hydrocortisone for local application. Applying coconut oil or olive oil or liquid paraffin oil will be helpful to get rid off dryness. Also use mild detergents for undergarments. Use loose and cotton underwear. Avoid underwear while sleeping.
