Question : My daughter is eight years old and has an itch on the outside and inside of her vagina. But there isnt any rash. What maybe the problem and what should I do?

Hello. I just read through your question. Often the skin in that area can be sensitive and irritated without any visual evidence. I recommend first reviewing proper hygiene with your daughter. Then, you can apply an over the counter moisturizer. This will help decrease the sensitivity and help her become more comfortable.

Hello,
Moisturizer (Layer of cream) soothing the vagina by decreasing sensitivity.
If itching persists I suggest you cetrizine 5 mg once a day. It is available over the counter.
Wash the affected area with warm water twice a day.
Wear loose cotton under garments. Use mild soap to clean the area like baby soap.
