Question : hello I have been experiencing slight itch or burn at the tip of my penis for about a week now along with some discharge mostly at night since Saturday. I started applying lotromin jock itch to the area on Sunday and since the discomfort has gone way down and the discharge seems to be stopping as well I had very little signs of discharge this morning and haven't had any all day there is still a slight burn when I pee. I went and got checked for stds on Monday and will have the results Monday. do you think the lotromin is curing the affected area?
Brief Answer:
Yes, Lotromin is helping.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Yes, it seems that Lotromin is helping you. Symptoms described by you can be caused by fungal infection of the affected area. In such case, Lotromin is correct choice and should be helpful. As the symptoms are getting less intense, most likely its the effected of used antifungal cream.
It is also very good that you have been tested for STD. With this issues ruled out, please continue the Lotromin for a week or so.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
