What Causes Itching Throughout The Body?

Question: lately iam feeling tired and curious about having to scratch my skin all over my body no rashes or anything but do need to scratch all over to feel comfortable. I don't know what keeps me thinking it's something with my blood. several small years in the past the put XXXXXXX in me to check up on stomache pain. visited hospital like four times with stomach pain witch the fourth time they used XXXXXXX to help them check on anything wrong.they also put me in the tube CT scan

I am Dr.Kakkar (Dermatologist). I have read your query and I have noted your concern.

For an generalized itch but with no rash, I would keep a possibility of Xerosis/ dryness with pruritus. Do you use a moisturising cream?
I don't think that it is due to a reactin to the dye/ barium swallow test because it was done a long time ago.
In addition I also suggest you to take a tablet of cetrizine 10 mg once daily in evening for symptomatic relief from itching
