Question : My granddaughter who is 22 years of age has episodes of welts and rashes on her body from head to waist
with pain, itching and burning sensations. Is there am "over the counter" medication that will relieve her symptoms? Thank you, ............

Hello. Thank you.
I am Dr kakkar (Dermatologist and Venereologist). I have noted your concern.

Perhaps she has 'Hives'.
I suggest her to take an OTC oral antihistamine e.g Cetrizine 10mg once a day (evening).
Topically she may use a soothing lotion e.g Calamine lotion.
