What Causes Itchy Rashes On The Hands And Legs During Pregnancy?

Question: I am pregnant women and I am getting spots as shown in below image. Can you suggest how to get rid of this?

I can see skin colored raised bumps in this image.

I would like to know do you have any associated symptoms like itching? pain?

What all areas/sites are affected?

Hello Kakkar, It effected at hands and legs. Currently these are not there. Sometimes they are getting and spreading. And it feels itchy. No pain. I don't have any other image right now.

Hi,

Perhaps those are Hives. Hives are evanescent i.e last a few hours and are usually itchy. I suggest you take an oral antihistamine e.g either Tab. Chlorpheniramine or Dexchlorpheniramine (Tab. Polaramine}. They are safe in pregnancy.

You may apply a soothing lotion e.g Calamine lotion topically.
