Question: I have a rash on my chest and neck. It itches, as does my head. It is light and just round. I also find a light rash on the rest of my body. There are no breaks.

Brief Answer:
Maybe a fungal infection

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

It is possible that the rash is due to a fungal infection of the skin, it is called tinea corporis.

The rash can have a hypopigmented (lighter than surrounding areas) appearance and can be itchy.

Treatment- If it is over a small area, then topical treatment can be used eg econazole, ketoconazole, miconazole, clotrimazole.
A mild topical steroid can be used for the first few days to reduce the itchy e.g. hydrocortisone.

If it is over a large area and from your description, seems to involve a large area, then oral treatment may be needed eg griseofulvin, itraconazole, fluconazole, terbinafine
These would require a prescription from your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
