Question : My daughter is 3 years and weight is 12.4 kg. She has been getting itching specially on her legs back side with red spots/patches since last 3 days. today she has suddenly at night got 102 fever with heavy breathing. Yesterday we gave her Atarax 2 times. and today crocin for the fever. pls suggest what to do and if its anything serious. Thanks XXXX

Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
The lessions you described looks like urticaria.
Urticaria can be allergic or sometimes triggered by viral infection.
But needs confirmation.
Please upload some photos or take her to nearby pediatrician to confirm if it's urticaria .
I usually treat with atarax, ranitidine, steroids for atleast 48 hours.
For fever continue paracetamol every four hours and sponge the whole body.
