What Causes Itchy Vaginal Sores?
Question: Hello I have sores at the vagina area witch itches all the time but I just got a bad cold and they got bigger than normal and burns so bad when I pee but they are open and bleeding and I do have some paint in lower stomace to can you help me to know what is going on with me please? Thank you

I am so sorry to hear about these sores and all the inconveniences they have caused you. From the description of your symptoms, they probably represent and infection ad would need to be addressed through a doctor's examination, testing and probably prescription of antibiotics to get them controlled. Urine contains acid and that is what causes the severe burning sensation after urination as urine spills over it.
I suggest you call you doctor and get an appointment to get this figured out. For now, sitz baths using Iodine in lukewarm water would be helpful. Sit in a bowl containing the lukewarm water and Iodine for 15minutes at least twice a day and after stools and urination. This would help accelerate healing and relieve the pains while you sort out the appointment issues. Pain medication such as Tylenol would offer additional relieve.
