Brief Answer:
Floater, vitreous degeneration

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

The common cause for such a jagged spot or floater is age related degeneration involving the vitreous humor, a gel present in the posterior part of the eye.
Treatment is generally not needed unless upon examination a retinal tear retinal degeneration is evident which can lead to retinal detachment and would require prophylactic laser treatment. It would be advisable to consult your ophthalmologist for examination of the posterior segment of the eye to rule out retinal pathology.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
