Question : Went to Mexico a few weeks ago now I have joint pain and slight fever I also have skin rash that is producing dark hard discharge, what could this be? I have hyperactive thyroid also

Welcome to HCM,

I have read your query and understand your concern.

Take over the counter pain killer (like ibuprofen or aleve) for symptomatic relief from joint pain and mild fever.

But I will need to look at the dark hard discharging skin rash in order to diagnose the underlying condition whether it is a boil or something else because it is very difficult to tell without clinical inspection of the lesion.

For that please provide me picture of that. I will give my opinion after that.
