Question: I am 57 year old male, I have been experiencing joint pain in ankles and neck, stiff with limited motion, is worst after rest or long drive... sometimes I cant walk for a few moments when I first get up... then pain and stiffness decreases but never goes away... My arms and legs fall a sleep easily as well... I am concerned because I lost both my sisters to bone cancer... one at 46 and the other at 57

Brief Answer:
Hello. It is unrelated to bone cancer

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through yoyr query. So your symptoms seems unrelated to primary bone cancer and the symptoms are suggestive of arthritis , either osteoarthritis , metabolic bone disease or inflammatory arthritis. At your age, the only screening test recommended for cancer is colonoscopy for colorectal tumor. However, you can undergo tumor marker test for prostate cancer also, that is psa test to relieve the anxiety.
Please relax, i still maintain, symptoms are unrelated to cancer.
Thanks and regards
