What Causes Keratosis Near The Hairline?

Question: I had a small keratosis on my mid hairline. It's developed to one then two hard lumps. i am not sure, but there also may be another one developing close by. They are not painful. I had the original ketosis biopsied quite a while ago and the results were negative. What could this be and what type of specialist should I consult?
Brief Answer:
Solar keratosis
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
But I would like to look further into this, this is why I recommend that you send a photo for me to inspect in a follow-up query.
However, this is most probably a solar keratosis which occurs in sun-exposed areas as thickened parts of the skin that appears as sand patches.
This type of keratosis is benign but has the potential to convert into a cancerous lesion.
So, I would recommend that you visit a dermatologist for inspection and repeating the biopsy if the initial biopsy was done more than six months ago.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
