Question: My almost 3month old has a lump/knot on her right side of the face right in front of her ear she jasnt showed any signs of pain today what could it be

I have seen the attached image. The swelling could be due to inflammation of the right parotid gland or could be due to enlargement of some pre-auricular lymph node. In either case it is more likely to have occurred due to some infection. If it is painless, it is more likely to be a lymph node enlargement and I would not suggest you to do anything specific but still getting her evaluated by your pediatrician or keeping him posted on the condition might be a good idea.
