Take extra fluid/high caloric diet

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

I can understand your concern. Most of mothers produce enough milk to meet the demand of the baby.
Whether the milk production is adequate or not can be assessed by following-
Whether baby feels satisfied and sleeps enough after the feeds
Whether baby is passing urine adequately (4-6 times a day)
Baby is gaining weight adequately
Mother feels emptying of breast after the feeds

Sometimes the demand exceeds the production.
For enough milk production mother should take extra fluids and one and half times the normal caloric intake.Feel free,be calm, avoid anxiety and feed the baby comfortably.
you may take some medication like metoclopramide to increase the milk production after consulting your physician.
If all these measures faisl you may give formula feed to the baby.

I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more doubts.
Regards
