Question : Known to be pregnant a month now. Tested positive a week and half early . Showing a lot . There are 5 sets of twins on my moms side hoping there are two . I am showing like I am six months pregnant. My symptoms are out of this world. But holding it in there.

Get Ultrasound done.

Hello.
First of all Congratulations.

It's not essential that you have twins if you are feeling excessive weight gain. Actually in first trimester the weight gain is not so much so just by looking at tummy and weight gain no one can ascertain that you have twins or not.

I would advise you to get an Ultrasound Abdomen done to rule out twins. Get booked under a gynaecologist and she will also order a few baseline investigations like Blood sugar, Thyroid profile.
