What Causes Late Periods?
Question: I had sex wid mr gf on 10 sep 2014 10:15 pm and after it she take unwanted 72 on 11th sep 9 pm and her normal period date is 21st august .... still her period not coming....is she pregnant or we will wait some more day for her period??

1) Unwanted 72 (emergency pill) gives more than 95% protection against unwanted pregnancy when it is taken within first 24 hrs of unprotected sex. Here, chance of pregnancy is quite LOW.
2) Most women get a withdrawal bleeding within 5 to 7 days after taking the pill. In this case, I suggest her to await few more days to get period naturally as her period date is around 21st of this month.
3) Withdrawal bleeding may coincide with her normal period date. If she doesn't get her period by this time, I suggest her to undergo one home pregnancy test after 25th Sept to clear doubt.
