Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Yes, you should inform your surgeon. However, it doesn't appear to be anything worrisome. It can be related to GERD or stress. PPIs can be prescribed for that purpose. Mild to moderate myalgias can be treated with acetaminophen and muscle relaxants. Most probably your surgery would go on schedule.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
