On the left side, most common reason of similar to appendicitis pain is diverticulitis (an inflammation of sigmoid colon diverticles). Diverticles are kind of pouches in the intestinal wall. Pain is usually associated with some fever. Blood in stool can appear
Ovaries cyst or left kidney infection can also give similar pain on the left side.
