Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully passed through your question and would explain that your symptoms do not seem to be related to myocardial ischemia or any other cardiac disorder.

All your performed cardiac tests which have resulted normal have excluded any possible implication of the heart to your symptomatology.

So relax! There is no need to go further by performing a coronary angiography. This exam is performed when high suspicions of coronary artery disease are raised in the above mentioned tests.

From the other hand, you have not cardiovascular risk factors:

-No family history
-No smoking or diabetes
- normal levels of homocysteine
- blood pressure under control
- your blood lipid profile is excellent. Total cholesterol/HDL ratio is 4 (normal).

So just relax!

All yours symptoms seem to be related to gastro-esophageal reflux, dyspepsia or gastritis. I would recommend performing a GI endoscopy to investigate for this disorder.

Regarding the numbness in your left arm, it could be explained by anxiety. Another possible disorder which could lead to numbness in this region, associated to chest pain would be possible cervical spine disorder, leading to radicular pain in this region.

I would recommend performing a cervical spine X ray study, coupled with a nerve conduction study to exclude possible nerve compression in this region.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Feel free to ask any other questions whenever you need!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
