What Causes Left-sided Facial Swelling And Ear Ache After An Insect Bite?

Question: Hi I have a bite on my temple, left side.

It is causing swelling down the left side of my face, causing ear ache, swollen glands and this morning my eye lid is also swallen.

I am taking abtibiotics, do I need anything else ?

The bite area is probably infected and the swelling and swollen glands are due to the inflammatory reaction.

Hi thanks you for that.

The swelling has now gone to my eye.. It seems as though the fluid is moving- 2 hours ago the top on my eyelind was swallen - felt like a water bed. Now it has moved to underneath my eye.
Is this cause for concern ?

Hi,
The eyelids are loose tissues.
So the swelling easily spreads to the eyelids especially after waking up in the morning.

You need to worry only if there is redness and pain over the eyelids.
For just swelling alone there is no need to worry.
