Brief Answer:
May be costochindritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

Noted the history of robotic uterus removal in 2012.
Also noted that you have pain in the left rib cage area, blood works and CT scans normal at both ER visits. This is happening on and off for months, making movements hard at times. Now have bruising on left upper stomach area.

All the history put together makes me think of costochondritis as the most probable diagnosis. in this condition the tests of any sort are usually negative.

The area of the muscles starting from the lower ribs along with the lower ribs get inflamed and when the swelling in more, it makes movement difficult as the muscles involved into such movements start (originate) from this area.

The bruising can be due to severe inflammation or may be because of any local heat or liniment if you has applied.

Although the exact cause of this condition is not known, the most probable cause can be flu or some systemic infection like enteritis, exertion, stress and anxiety.

I would suggest the following treatment.
-Rest to the area by means of strapping with the Adhesive tapes during the deep Expiration phase. This will limit the movement, reduce the pain and give rest for healing to occur.
-Anti-inflammatory medicines in full dose as per the weight.
-Steroids if required for its strong anti-inflammatory role.
-Diuretics to reduced the edema.
-Control of stress and anxiety helps a lot.
-Local rubrafacient liniments if the area is not covered by strapping.
-Confirmation of the diagnosis by local Doctor on palpation and clinical evaluation and to get prescription based medicines after discussing the above points.

This sort of a treatment helps all my patients. and should help you too.

I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
