Question : I have a pain on the left side of my throat. If I touch the lower part of the left side of my neck the pain is more severe. My left ear feel uncomfortable also.

Thanks for the query

It looks like you might be suffering from pharyngitis associated with inflammation of the draining lymphnode. Here is what you should do

1. Avoid eating cold food and beverages
2. Gargle your throat with betadine gargle three times a day
3. Tab Aceclofenac is the ideal tablet for the pain. It has to be taken twice a day for not more than 3 days
4. I usually start an antibiotic like Amox with clavulunate, it has to be taken 3 times a day for 5 days
5. If the symptoms does not improve or becomes worse, ENT surgeon is the best doctor to approach
