What Causes Left-sided Pain Through Neck, Arm And Shoulder Blades?

default
Posted on Mon, 24 Aug 2015
Question: Have pain down the left side of my neck, left arm, between shoulder blades. Worked out with my trainer in March and clearly hurt my left side. Was doing a wall angle, trying to press back flat against the wall. Told her it really hurt. I also started riding a road bike on 25 mile plus trips. Really noticed pain between my shoulder blades after the first long ride. When the to a chiropractor several times that helps, but it comes back. Exercise helps loosen muscles up but when I cool down, pain returns. What else can I do to improve my back/neck?

Brief Answer:
Seems to be muscular pain.

Detailed Answer:

Hi
Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. You are likely to be having muscular pain. This pain is likely to be relieved by rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. I found very good results in patients visiting me for muscular pain by local injection triamcilone. But for this you have to visit orthopaedician. You are advised to get your vitamins D test and if found low you can take supplements of vitamin D3. Vitamin D deficiency is also important cause of muscular pain. You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
