Can ibuprofen cause protein in urine?

Protein may be due to infection, other kidney problems possible

Dear patient,

most likely this is due to acute infection.
However, an ultrasound of the kidneys is advisable to rule out other possible causes like other chronic inflammations. Ibuprofene usually does not cause this.
