Brief Answer:
Needs Management
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking!
Leg pain involving buttocks and calf muscles with fecal incontinence are all connected due to your past history of lumbar surgeries and a chronic back pain.
Bowel control centers and sciatic nerve which controls the leg areas you mentioned are compressed and thus you are getting the symptoms for compressive neuropathy associated with probable sciatica and bowel incontinence.
The fecal incontinence needs a diet and lifestyle modifications and bulking agents and fibres in abundance with biofeedback and rectal sensitivity training and a lot of effort under constant monitoring by a gastroenterologist. They will discuss some surgical correction options for this incontinence too with you so seek their help.
Now the pain in calf and leg muscles needs a lot of effort too from physiotherapies and NSAIDs and posture modification. And if not responding then epidural steroid injections are the best option. seek your rheumatologist and discuss th options with them. Continue the physiotherapy exercises and let the neurosurgeons take a look to see if there is any intervention necessary at lumbar level to decompress the vertebrae and relieve the nerves.
I hope it helps. Dont forget to close the discussion please and may the odds be ever in your favour.
