Brief Answer:
It is shin splints

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think you are having shin splints. In this condition there is pain in legs specially on centre of the shin. It is more common in people who suddenly starts running. I have following suggestions for you.
1.you need to apply ice in calf and shin and take Brufen tablet.
2.If pain is severe then compression bandage can be applied.
3. You need to train your body for running and sports. So start running with smaller distance and then gradually increase it.
4.take protein powder, 1000 mg calcium daily.
I hope these steps will be helpful for you.Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
Thanks

Sir, is it indicating any severe problem with my shin ? I noticed this problem 1 n 1/2 years ago when I started my jogging again after a long period(approx 6-7 years). According to you it happened because of sudden start of running/jogging - in that case what I cant comprehend is, why I'm still having this issue after 1 n 1/2 year as I've kept my practice or tried to keep it through-out this previous 18 months whenever possible, however possible; but the pain comes along again & again. And that's what prevents me from continuing. Sir, I really need your help.

Brief Answer:
There is not a serious problem

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I would recommend you to get your calcium and bone markers.
1.calcium
2..vitamin D
3.alkline phosphate and vitamin B12
If these markers shows any abnormalities then we can start treatment for it. You can share these reports with me. If these are all normal then you just need proper muscle strengthing and training. Shin splint is a common problem and it is not a serious issue. It will improve with time.
I hope these steps will be helpful for you. Let me know if you have any other follow up questions.
Thanks
