The are many causes for leg weakness. It could be slip disc in the spine at the lower back, it could be brain problems, Diabetes, previous surgery around the hip etc.

Kindly mention if you have back pain, tingling or numbness over the limb, any Diabetes or Hypertension, headache, previous surgery.

You may need inexhaustible line MRI Spine to look for slip disc.
