Brief Answer:
Not from medication, complication of viral infections

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I am sorry for the situation you are in.

Vancyclovir is an antiviral medication used to treat viral infections including those of upper respiratory tract.

If it was uused the treat upper respiratory viral infection, then I can say that usually such infections are often associated with urinary tract infection ( UTI ) .

The signs you are feeling like burning, pain and blood in urine are indicative for UTI.

I advise to :
- run abdominal ultrasound and urine analysis & culture to determine UTI
- increase water intake
- take antacids to stabilize urine ph (eg. magnesium citrate)
- otc herbal remedies for UTI can also help like cranberry, uva ursi etc.

Wish fast recovery!
