What Causes Light Headedness 6 Weeks After A Miscarriage?

default
Posted on Mon, 16 Nov 2015
Question: Hi, I am experiencing light headedness. I suffered a miscarriage three months ago at 6 weeks. I have had two normal periods since, although they were heavier than normal. I work as a remedial therapist, my appetite is normal and I am not feeling sick or feverish. My partner has just returned after 6 weeks away. I run a small farm, my own business and have an eight year old child. Could I just be a little tired?

Brief Answer:
Get investigated for anemia

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Light headedness may have many causes but in your case first you should get your hemoglobin checked. Anemia may cause fatigue, weakness and light headedness.
Other possibility may be exertion induced fatigue and light headedness. Rest will improve the condition.
In patients with migraine, sometimes attack is with lightheadedness only or with pain and fatiguability.
In case of previous history of migraine and present associated headache take a pain killer for releif.
If you have any other complains like hearing loss, ear discharge, medical illness then communicate further.
Hope you recover early.
Wishing you good health
