Question : I injected 1 cc of testosterone cypionate in my quad I immediately felt light headed after pulling out the needle and began to sweat after laying down for about 15 min I'm feeling better I think I may have hit a vein ? If so what can happen and how could I tell
Brief Answer:
Unlikely to enter major vein
Detailed Answer:
There are no large veins prominently traversing that area , unlike the ones we have in our arms from where blood samples are taken or those in our inner thighs or lower neck regions which are large enough to cause the entire medication to directly enter the veins.
So this is extremely unlikely to have had happened in your instance too. Sometimes the pain of injection can provoke a 'vaso vagal' reaction ie a nervous system response causing the symptoms you experienced temporarily.
