Brief Answer:
Pregnancy or hormonal disturbances

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Scanty bleeding in periods and irregular spotting can be due to pregnancy or hormonal disturbances.
I will suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test.
If negative, then you should observe your menstrual cycles for next 2 months.
If irregular, then you should get your thyroid and prolactin levels, and get a ultrasound done to confirm the diagnosis and get further treatment accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
