What Causes Light Period?
Question: Hi mam,
we started having Protective sex on 2nd October from 6 pm till 5th October 2 am (early morning) having intervals in between.we also check condoms were broken or not,but condoms were perfectly fine.and i had wetness problem this time...
My period started on 8th september last month and i have 28-30 days cycle..last for 3 days.. i dont bleed so mch....i got my periods today i.e 10th october at early morning..but it is bleeding less today..any thing to worry?

2) Hormonal imbalance (if you used emergency pill) and mental stress can delay your period with less bleeding. However, you will get regular bleeding from the next period cycle. Don't be worried much.

1) According to your period due date, you ovulated around 24th to 26th Sept and ovum can survive 24-36 hrs (max) after ovulation.
Therefore, you CAN'T be pregnant from protective sex on 2nd to 5th October as it was SAFE sex. So, don't be worried.
2) Implantation bleeding occurs 7 to 9 days (Mostly) after fertilization. It is NOT like the same thing.
3) Wetness problem may be due to high sexual excitement and it varies from women to women. However, if you have problem of leucorrhea, then it should be treated properly after consultation with doctor.
4) Light period may be due to hormonal imbalance, stress, vaginal infection, over weight, low hemoglobin, improper diet habit etc.
I suggest to consult with gynecologist to undergo some basic investigation like complete hormonal profile, Serum TSH, blood Hb% etc. Proper treatment can be made according to test results.

2) I suggest you to use vaginal moisturizing agents like VAGISIL after bathing & water based lubricant (K-Y gel) before intimation to get rid of this type problem.
Maintain genital hygiene before and after sex. Urinate properly each time. Drink more water or fluid to stay hydrated. Do regular meditation or yoga to avoid stress and take sound sleep everyday. These are way of healthy living.
