Question : I am taking a blood thinner. I'm 62, I noticed a light pink disgorge when i wipe myself?
Brief Answer:
INR should be checked at first.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
First of all you should have your INR checked. If its a blood from rectum, hemorrhoids can be the reason. However other sources of bleeding like large intestine polyp or even a cancer should be ruled out.
If the pink disgorge comes from your vagina, uterine issue can be the case.
Here is what you should do:
1. Consult your doctor and have INR checked.
2. Get scheduled for colonoscopy (especially if there was no colonoscopy recently)
3. Consult gynecologist (if the stuff comes from the vagina)
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
