2 . swollen lymph nodes both side of neck largest one is less than pea and I can feel more very tiny say mustard seed size I asked to my ped she said its normal at his age
3 in last 15 days he fell twice on road and developed two small petechiae on palm old one he scratched off it came of like dead skin...new one is still there
4 otherwise he is very healthy in last 1 year he develpoed fever only for 1 day that to because of hand foot disease which he caught from his cousion..he recovered pretty quickly
5 and now MY Main concern he has developed a blue spot on front gum of cannine tooth....he fell from bed last to last night and landed on mattress lying next to bed...might that have caused it...
NOW I m very worried why is this happening...I have read it could be sign of lekumia....I m worried to death.....I m very tensed and seven month pregnant

Brief Answer:
Please do not worry - your kid is normal

Detailed Answer:
Hi... will address your concerns one by one -

1. The light red spot is accumulation of blood capillaries there - that is why when you are pr3essing it is becoming white and then when the pressure is released, then again the blood is coming back into the capillaries and this is a normal phenomenon. You need not worry about it.

2. The swollen lymph nodes of that size is normal at this age. Even a trivial cough and cold will cause lymph nodes in that region to be swollen and this is also a quite common and natural phenomenon in this age group.

3. Small petechiae over the palms which are healing are quite common . As they are healing -0 you need not worry.

4. I am happy that he had recovered from Hand Foot Mouth Disease very fast and he got a fever only once in 1 year period.

5. Yes the blue spot might have been caused by the fall, It could be a tiny hematoma there. I would be glad if you can upload an image of the blue spot.

YOU NEED NOT WORRY ABOUT LEUKEMIA OR BLOOD CANCER. AS A BROTHER I AM ADVISING YOU...AS 7 MONTH PREGNANT LADY YOU SHOULD NOT THINK ABOUT ANYTHING LIKE THIS AND GET STRESSED. PLEASE KEEP YOUR MIND STRESS FREE AS YOUR KID PERFECTLY HEALTHY.

PLEASE UPLOAD THE IMAGE OF THE BLUE SPOT IF YOU CAN.

Brief Answer:
Looks like a small hematoma or bruise

Detailed Answer:
Hi...this looks like a small hematoma or bruise. Nothing to worry about it. It will heal by itself.

There is no specific medicine for it.

If it's increasing in size or spreading, then you need to see your pediatrician for it or upload the photos again to me.

Brief Answer:
Please do not prick the bruise

Detailed Answer:
Hi...please do not prick the bruise.. It might yet secondarily infected. It can lead on to dental caries and tooth decay from root as the hematoma is in the gums.

I suggest you get a dental surgeon's opinion so that your stress will be relieved.

You need not worry about the kid being ill if he's active and playing around.
