Brief Answer:
no need for 02

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to health care magic.
Loose stools are usually caused by virus.
O2 is ofloxacin which is an antibiotic which need not be given for all loose stools. Only if the stools are persistent or with blood and mucous, you need to give antibiotics.
I usually prescribe 5ml twice daily for 5 days.
Continue probiotics like bifilac, keep hydrated with ORS which are very important.
Wishing your child speedy recovery.
Regards
Dr Arun
