Posted on Fri, 13 Jun 2014
Question: In the last 6 months I have undergone a glaucoma inplant a few weeks later a cataract surgery which the Dr.called more complex than the normal surgery, both were to the right eye. It has been 2 months since the last surgery. We have had complications with pain and the clearing of clutter in the eye. In a few weeks I will under go another surgery to clean out the clutter that has formed. Approximately 2 weeks ago my teeth had started loosen to the point, that it is hard to eat due to the pain. I have been on many types of eye drops, have had several shots to eye, high powered steroids, and antibiotics. Could these surgeries, antithesa, and the many medicines possibly be causing the teeth problem?

Brief Answer:
Teeth problem is not related to your eye problems.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
It seems from the history that you had a glaucoma implant surgery followed by a cataract surgery.
The symptoms of redness and treatment by antibiotics, steroids in the form of eye drops and injections indicate inflammation caused by cataract surgery and the glaucoma implant surgery. This not at all related to your teeth problem.
Hence no need to worry that the teeth problem is responsible for all these symptoms. All these symptoms are because of glaucoma and surgeries on the eye.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
With regards
