Question : My Dad Left hear seems to be having some problem with, he is not able to hear ,
he says he used tp get the ringing noise and now he cannot hear properly from left ear. Hesays long ago he was advised by a homeopathy doctor that he seems to have a hole in the ear. Where should I get this checked he is 60 years old.

Hi XXXXXXX , thanks for the query.
As per your clinical history it appears as your dad had some perforation to ear drum while cleaning ear result in ringing noise & hard of hearing. If you mention your city , i can advice good ENT consultant in your city. Your dad will need ENT examination , Hearing tests to know type of ear disease & degree of hearing loss.
Meanwhile Keep ear dry (don't put any ear drop) ,don’t allow water go inside while bath. Use sterile cotton while bath.
