Question : I had lost my appetite since long and felt indigestion after taking meal. I have started taking unienzyme tablets by my own from the last one week and now I feel appetite and the meal I take is being well digested. I feel no side effect as well. For how much time I should take this medicine?

Thanks for the query. I have read & understood your concern.
I am happy that you had started Vitazyme & started regaining appetite& digestion too. Vitazyme is an excellent preparation which helps in digestion & use of the nutrients, it improves movement of food in intestine ..The clearance of bowels gets normal/ Gas formation& spasms are reduced which in turn reduces abdominal discomfort.
* You can take it for few months of ( say 6 months ) provided you do not drive after taking the medicine / you don't have loose motions/ It is also not advisable in pregnancy & breast feeding./It may raise blood sugar , when taken over along time... so the blood sugar must be checked in between.
* All above things make it clear that one can not depend on the medicine life long. That demands improvement of appetite & digestion after getting treatment for the basic cause.
* There are certain health problems which result in loss of appetite. One must try to get examined & investigated for pin pointing the cause followed by specific treatment, so as to regain natural appetite & digestion & then there won't be any cause to continue the medicine any more.
