Brief Answer:
Needs work up and management

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Loss of appetite, difficulty trying to sleep, shaking, diarrhea on eating and jitters in waking time indicates likely a flare of anxiety with history in past. However the organic symptom of tremors and diarrhea can not be ignored and needs to be evaluated for the cause. I would suggest hormonal workup for thyroid imbalance as hyperthyroidism can present this way. After that, i would suggest workup to rule out irritable bowel syndrome or Inflammatory bowel disorders.

Till then take some anxiolytics, use BRAT diet, pomegranate juices and herbal tea , yogurt and peppermint for the relief and see if it helps. I wish you good health and would like you to get a doctor as quick as possible.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan

Went to the doctor and they want me to take paxil. Feel like this is overkill due to the fact I dont think I have the level of anxiety that would call for that. I do realize that most likely i am having anxiety tremors, but will paxil stop that. Oh also I just saw the nurse practitioner not the doctor. I feel like I should get a second opinion.

Also she doesn't think I have any major problems like Parkinson or ms, which has helped to calm me down and alleviate some of my anxiety.

Brief Answer:
Take paxil and no worries

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

Paxil is a paroxetine and a very safe SSRI so yes you may take it for a month of two. If you feel like you need another opinion you can have it, but psychotherapy, rehab sessions help with such psychological flares more than these meds. Learning how to cope up is needed. And yes i fully endorse her view of any major neurological illness. Anxiety and depression is common in every one, some have more and some have less.

I hope it helps.
