Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.

Based on the history you have shared, it can be due to gastritis or stomach issues. But If the sight of food is not arising any appetite it can be due to any derangement in liver or kidney function tests. For that it would be suggested to have renal and liver function tests to look for levels of bilirubin and urea. If these are normal, the other reasons can be less alarming. Though monitoring of weight should be done critically. You can start by taking liquids and high energy protien rich supplements to fulfil essential micronutrients and calorie reuqirements , and appetisers like trimetabol, before meals to increase appetite. At 5 days of history, hopefully it's not alarming at this level and further monitoring should be done. Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
