Question : My wife, 61 years old, on rare occasions, experiences faintness, nausea, and sweating, and then recovers quickly. She is athletic, physically fit, and I can't figure out what these symptoms might mean.
Brief Answer:
precautions advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir, I understand your health issues.
There is nothing to worry as these are just menopausal symptoms. She should drink a lot of water and avoid hot and humid climates. Lessen her intake of caffeine and eat lots of salads and fruits. Include nuts especially walnuts in daily diet and increase intake of soy proteins.
If these simple measures are not helpful then visit a gynecologist for hormone replacement therapy.
