Question: My 8 year old girl seems to have lost a lot of hair from her eyebrows in the last 4 days she says it started itching last week

Hi....by what you quote that there's itching too...I feel that there could be an allergic component involved.

This is called Madarosis in scientific terminology.

The possibilities could be -
1. Atopic or allergic dermatitis.
2. Seborrheic dermatitis.
3. Ichthyosis
4. Frontal fibrosing alopecia
5. Psoriasis
6. Alopecia areata

I suggest you consult a dermatologist for this. She definitely needs evaluation.
