Question : I have been receiving injections of LEUPROLIDE (ELIGARD) 45MG(6 MONTH)LA INJ every 24 weeks for almost 3 years. After starting with the injections, my PSA dropped from 22+ to >.01. However, my most recent test came back at .02 . How concerned should I be that the drug is no longer effective?

Brief Answer:
No need to worry.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Such variations are entirely normal and not a cause for concern. Had the drug not been effective, the resultant change would have been much larger.

You need not worry.
