Question : I have a very low TSH and my MD is checking this again. If it's low again, what questions should I be asking? Any further testing needed?
Brief Answer:
Low TSH may indicate hyperthyriodism
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
Your md should check the peripheral hormones Ft3 and Ft4 also, low TSH may be sign of hyperthyroidism. Also an ultrasound of the thyoid and so called TRAK antibodies in the blood should be tested for.
You may need medication to slow your thryoid down (thyreostatics), depending on the origin.
Please discuss this with your local md. Upload your reports for me to view.
Best regards
