Brief Answer:
kindly send all your reports.

Detailed Answer:
Hello xxxxxxx and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your concern.

An ultrasound scan showing sand, should mean sludge in the kidney.
This will need you to do a contrast CT-IVU,to know how it's affecting your kidney.
Sand could suggest stone particles or even infection.
You should start taking a Paracetamol tablet,if you're having chills.
Check your temperature with a thermometer at that time.
Also see if your urine culture test has been done.
The other tests to be done are :
RBS,LFT,calcium,phosphorus ,uric acid,electrolytes,FT4 and TSH.
If not done, kindly get it done.

Drink about ten glasses fluids daily.
Excess fluids doesn't help,unless you're sweating a lot.
You may send your reports here,to get an expert opinion.

Wish you well.

In the pink of health

Hi Nutriplus,
Your reports show, you're in the pink of health.
You should start exercising daily for about one hour.
That should take care of your symptoms.

Brief Answer:
Infection in kidney will have fever and chills.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Nxxxxxxxx,
You'll need to do the CT-IVU,if you develop fever with chills.
Sand in kidney, isn't a diagnosis made on ultrasound scan.
You can send the scan to me, for an expert opinion.
Drink fluids as advised earlier and you should feel much better.
Other tests have already been done by you and are normal.
Wish you well.
